Leanne Bouwer is a classically trained dancer and a member of the Royal Academy of Dancing SA.
Furthermore she completed her Modern Advanced exams and NSA Jazz Dance exams and is currently completing her Modern & Hip Hop teachers (Associate) exams at Dance Cor. Although she always wanted to be a dancer she made the decision to obtain her LL.B Law degree in 2009 at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
Whilst studying she performed as a freelance dancer and choreographer and joined the UJ Contemporary Dance and UJ Song and Dance Companies. Leanne choreographed at numerous Universities, University Dance companies and UJ events and won awards for best UJ choreography from 2004-2008.
In 2008 a foot injury prevented her from performing. She took a break from dancing and completed her law articles. Leanne now practices as an admitted attorney in Randburg.
Being drawn to her passion, Leanne now teaches Modern and Hip–Hop after hours and is a member of a ministry dance group called ACTS.
